OneSource Virtual appoints new chief financial officer

Dallas, TX - Sept. 13, 2016 - OneSource Virtual (OSV), ), a leading Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) and professional services provider, today announced the appointment of John D. Bax as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective September 6, 2016. Bax brings with him more than 20 years of executive leadership in finance and operations with an extensive background in corporate finance, investor relations, financial planning, strategic planning and risk management.

A long time CFO of private equity and venture capital backed technology businesses, Bax has scaled three separate startups to over $1 billion in annual revenues, raised over $3 billion in capital in the private markets, consummated over 40 M&A transactions, and managed finance and accounting teams from 6 to 300. He also served as VP planning & analysis for Wal-Mart Stores, where he was responsible for strategic planning at the world’s largest company, and has deep professional services experience as well with Ernst & Young. Bax earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University.

Bax succeeds OSV’s current CFO Melinda Lawrence, who recently made the decision to resign in order to pursue other opportunities.
